This has appeared at Enviroability, minus a back wheel (I've temporarily put a scrap wheel on). I'm very tempted to take this one home! I love these early MTBs and I have all the bits to rebuild this one with drop bars.

Bought it! Paid £30 including some lights, a pair of XT SPD pedals and (if I can find some in the pile) a pair of 26" slick tyres.

Just ridden it to the pub. My goodness, but it needs some work before I'll be happy with it. I'll start a thread in the projects and rebuilds section when I get it started.

I love those old Marins and they normally ride well .
I would quite happily have a garage full of them 😉

I had the Bear Valley and Eldridge Grade bikes of that era. Really good hardtails.

Yours is a bargain at £30.
