£14 for a ticket in halifax seems steep or am i being a tight wad. i am thinking of going

I've got my ticket for Halifax. I thought it was a bit pricey but you'll remember the experience but forget the cost in a few months.

IMHO don't read the book first. I went to something before (a Dave Gorman gig) and read the book in advance but the gig was essentially him retelling the story of the book with a few extra bits - entertaining but I wish I'd read the book after.

Although I've already read Beaumont's book and watched the TV show.
