ah good ol Mark, he's the fella that got knocked over in the US by an old person jumping the lights, then when he got back got his bike nicked here in the UK.

He wouldn't do very well I don't think, he wouldn't have the speed to keep up in the mountain stages

I agree, I managed to finish ahead of him in the etape caledonia and I am really rubbish/unbelievably bad at hills

Incidentally, I spoke to him on the EC, jolly nice guy, very pleasant, In no way up himself.

The guy is a hero, what he accomplished was truly amazing.

But TDF type cycling - Nope - a different type of riding methinks
