When I raced (over ten years ago now) Cosmics were a popular wheel set. They had a sound all of their own. There's a lot of competition out there for wheels so I've no idea where they stand in the pecking order now. However, they're a low spoke count so wouldn't suit me since I've put on a bit of weight otherwise I might have considered making an offer. Disk brakes are also now the 'go to' type of wheel so rim brakes can be difficult to sell on. Good luck though 👍

10 / 11 speed?
Do they come with the cassette and tyres or not? And more details on those would help?
Campag or Shimano?
Are they collection only or postable?
Is there any damage? What's the brake tracks like?

Comes with tyres and Shimano 9 spd cassette.
Very postable.
Rims have no sign of wear.

I'm assuming clinchers and 700c.

As those Michelin Iron Man were a popular 650b tyre apparently.

Wheelset is around 17 years old (2009). I wont need tyres or cassette (tyres are too old).

Let me and DCLane know what price your neighbour is looking at. These will be road wheels for my CX bike. Difficult to price as whats on ebay varies and some are as much as they were new from overseas.
