Here l go again, l just love vintage Mavic components and other memorabilia . I recently acquired a 1981 catalogue in almost new condition . Full of photographs of (to me) desirable bits and pieces.

Me too , you might be the right person to ask about Mavic Cosmic blue rimmed tubular wheels from the 1990's . In other words any good or leave well alone. Actually l would be happy just hanging a set on the wall for decorative purposes

They are the alloy ones - should be good. Cosmics moved to alloy rim, carbon 'faring' design in later years (much like my HED Jets).

Managed to crack an XT crank....but to be fair I'd bummed it up and down washway road on 4 different bikes for about 11 years.
