Yes that's true. I'm not defending him,i'm just saying that he was a fool to end up in jail when he had such a great life. Although his crimes were committed before he made his fortune so he could've said the past came back to haunt him. I still think it's a bit bad to rejoice in his death.
I wouldn't use the term great life. He had wealth and was possibly tolerated by a number of those with whom he rubbed shoulders, because of the position of influence he had engineered over many years and of the indiscretions he knew or suspected.
He ended up in jail because he was convicted of being an abuser. In one way I am content for him to be off the taxpayer's bill and he has gone the same way as Saville. On the other hand he was only 31/2 years into his sentence and another part of me would have been content for the death to have occurred the day before he was due to be released.
