I love vintage scooters but I bought a Yamaha Majesty YP250 just to see what maxi-scooters were like, having seen 1000's of the things whizzing about Barcelona and noticing all the cops rode them too. I was really impressed, they are fantastic things, all day comfort at 70mph, great fuel economy and good storage space, I don't know why they haven't caught on (outside London) in the UK? Much cheaper and more sense than a second car.
I sold it intending to get a newer one, but that was 5 years ago now...............I think it's because they are plastic, I couldn't bond with it, it was just a thing. I do like the metal Vespa GTS's but for modern more useful design, the Japanese win hands down, but they are plastic things................
