May 29th on the Snake

Hiya,

How's about it? It's an 85-90 mile loop with a bucketload of climbing but nothing too steep, with a decent cafe stop in Sheffield. been done a few times via this forum before. Good day out with some great vistas from the tops.

9.00 AM start from that pub at the top of the hill between Stalyvegas and Mottram (Fossy will clarify the name) on Sunday 8/15/29th May (busy 22nd)

It's the Endcliffe park cafe. If the weather's good, it's lovely. Only trouble being is that as soon as you've finished filling your face there's a five mile climb IMMEDIATELY after with cold legs and something in your stomach. Oh well.

Just checked my dates and I could only do the 29th. Macclesfield Bikeathon on the 15th and I am doing a session at the Velodrome on the 8th although this doesnt start till 8pm so you never know, although i might be a little knackered doing both.
