Surgery went well and I'll know more when I visit in an hour as the consultant was going to look at his foot today.
They don't know if removing the toe would work as it was 50/50. So far he's holding his own but still on IV antibiotics.
They sent him for a heart scan when we were in visiting yesterday, as they feel his heart function has got worse.
He was in quite a bit of pain yesterday as his 'happy drugs' had worn off and he was tired as they made him get out of bed and walk with the physio - he was not amused!
