The area is naturally damp. Some of the houses on my side of the street have a culverted stream at the bottom of their back gardens. One neighbour used to keep trout in his section of the stream.

Nah, I'd get depressed if everything was in shades of grey, give me colours every time.

Having worked in a darkroom for about 4 years if my life, I LOVE black and white, and can, even now, invert my vision so I can really see things in black and white..... complete with grain for some reason!

You just know when you do black and white well, the whites are white and the blacks are black. It might sound a bit strange to say that, but its all too easy to end up with something that is a dull grey mess with sod all contrast!

To be good, the whites have to be white and the blacks black!!
