These have been my favourite 'leisure' shoes since 1980.

Must have had close to 20 pairs in the intervening years.

I only had black plimsolls

I had Dunlop Green Flesh trouble was you had to whiten about once a week

Many.many moons ago I had a pair of Ferdinand Puskas football boots.Remember him.
If memory serves me correct he was a Polish footy player

My first football boots were from Woolworths, can remember everyone staring at my feet... I’m sure it was in awe

I suspect not .
My mum brought me a pair of Woolworths brogues...Brown...they were actually pretty good quality I suspect...but I got SLAUGHTERED at school when they realised. And that was in the early 1970s

Puma Super Dalglish or Keegan I think.

I recall some luminous green Gola boots.

I played for palace guards felt proper pro.

Some weekends I might have played 3 competitive matches.

Half decent until puperty fully kicked in 14 grew too quick, cycled too much, too much footie and ended up double Osgood schlacter!

I suffered a green shin fracture from one of those!! It was a big kick from both of us.
He missed the ball..bastid,it really hurt.

Thanks fort that.Did he play for Hungari against England when Hungary won It was such a long while ago I am unable to remember the details.

I have just bought some Dunlop blue flash trainers from sports Direct for my holidays.They look really nice and well made £14-50p.Good value.

yes, Hungary won 5 - 3, early 1950's for years it was themed as the first time England were defeated by continental opposition at home but the Republic of Ireland beat them in 1949 at goodison park,

Remember it now.i would have been nine or ten then
