They are gorgeous Bagpuss. I went to the shop late last year and fell in love with a King of Mercia they had in the showroom. The thing that put me off them was that they did not seem too keen to build me a frame which could take 32mm tyres with mountain bike gearing.

Anyways, I went with Dave Yates and I absolutely love the bike he built me,

oooh my, are you sure you wouldn't rather hang it on a wall as a thing of beauty. certainly loads better than a lot of expensive art! oops, just noticed someone else has said the same thing....

Well I have the Chain set and the gearing sorted,brakes from my parts box. Saddle will be a Brooks B17. Looks like it will be a Royce hub for the rear and a Campagnolo large flange in the front.
