Merida Ride 93 Comp

I've been into my lbs (it is right opposite my office) and tried out the Merida, looks good and fits me well and as a 2014 model is priced right.

Has anyone any knowledge of these, it would be useful to know any more about them, very little on the web and no reviews.

I'll be using it in the summer for 40 to 100 mile rides, not racing. I use a Forme CX bike in the winter.

Merida is a very well respected brand cant say anything about the bike though as ive no idea

One of the guys that I go out with has got the Merida 93 and he is very happy with it. Nice looking bike too!

Merida own a large chunk of Specialized and the frames are made in the same factory. I had a look at some but decided on the Spesh in the end.

I have the Scultura Carbon model which is a little racier than the ride but I find it very comfortable as it still has quite a high front end. I have no complaints about the bike whatsoever - love it!

My brother has a Merida carbon hardtail mountain bike.

No problems, and he gives his bikes a bit of stick.
