Don't know a lot about them.
Looks a cracking bike though
Smooth welds, internal cable routing and 105.
Good package by looks of it

It is very pretty in the flesh. He's going through the cycle to work scheme too so it's an awful lot of bike for the £600 he'll end up paying.

My thoughts are that it may be a good bike, but it is lower in spec than my current favourites, the Cube Peloton Race & Giant Defy 1.

Only half the groupset is 105 with the brakes, chainset, cassette & bottom bracket being of lesser quality.

I have seen this bike spec sheet before & always wondered why it would say, bottom bracket attached, as if it would not be, odd.

On the positive side, Merida are apparently one of the worlds biggest cycle manufacturers & have been supplying frames to other brands for a long time.

A full carbon fork is specced too so it will be a little lighter than a carbon/aluminium fork.

That's pretty much the exact same amount of 105 that my Defy has plus internal cable routing and the full carbon larger diameter forks. The bb thing may be down to it being the lbs' website, they're a great lbs not so good at the web side of things.

Ive seen lot's of riders in cyprus on merida carbon machines...although the above is alu....apparently it's easier to import them from turkey.....just saying...you know...for th enext time you are in turkey or cyprus....might be useful....lol!

The Ultegra carbon meridas are to die for.....shame they dont do the larger sizes really...

The fella in the LBS said Merida sold a lot of bikes on the continent but not so many over here for whatever reason.
