Since the Met Office 'improved' their website a few weeks ago, it seems to have some serious problems (for me anyway, on a tablet and iPhone). I wondered if anyone else has noticed?

It's convinced I live in Exeter for some reason, and keeps re-setting that as my location for forecasts after every time i change it back to Newmarket. I can't get the rain radar to work at all (which is what I mostly use it for), and generally seems clunky, slow and pretty rubbish really. All that aside from the fact their forecasts aren't generally that accurate.

Just tried to look at the rain radar and very helpfully got this........

Its a bit much when you have to use the Dutch weather bureau site for a local rain radar

Yep - the new web site is a retro grade step. It works for me mostly tho' I had the location reset issue on my laptop on the old website (London it always was!) but not on my PC. Maybe the cookies just don't stick on lesser machines (or some other techy type answer)?

Met Office - sort yourselves out please.

It ought to be broken, permanently after today's forecast!! Light showers for Shropshire were forecast and I headed out for a 30 mile ride, getting caught in a massive storm that flooded a number of roads and buildings!!

Never have liked the Met Office site for user friendliness (or accuracy for that matter), and the new version is the worst yet.
If you want a good rain radar, try this:

You know something's wrong with your weather when you have web sites devoted to the daily rain report!

I may as well have done Pat!! I was about the furthest point of my ride and so just had to keep going. Was in danger of my contact lenses being washed out of my eyes at times!
Ops, pressed like by mistake!
That must have been an ordeal ... get dry soon ^_^
