Anybody on here ride one of these? Fairly new manufacturer of Bents so not a lot in terms of opinion on the web apart from what's on BROL. I will go up and see David at Laid back for a test ride but was wondering if anyone on here has taken a ride on one of these bikes and if so what is your opinion?

TIA
You got rid of your low rider then?

I got rid of my Bent....

Was just doing my knee in.
However far out or in I set up the cranks, or different pedals/cleats etc.

Shame, as really loved it.

I have a metabikes 20/26 and a Giro 20/26. All of the metabikes models use the same frame. The Giro has a 5" longer wheelbase and handles rough roads much better. Both bikes have the same rear tyre. The metabikes is the better hill climber though. Basically a stiff frame gives increased efficiency but the downside is getting bounced around over the bumpy roads. Even at low speeds I have been literally bounced out of the Metabikes seat. I do have the seat in a relatively upright position though. I'm planning to try a Big Apple on the rear. The other thing to try is more seat padding. If that doesn't work it's probably going up for sale. As you'll know, a couple of people on BROL have made seat suspension springs.
