Try green tea. Doesn't have or certainly reduces the effect.

That's odd,
I enjoy green tea but find for me it's a really powerful diuretic, more so than the strong black coffee I sometimes drink.
Must be something in it that triggers my " need to pee "

It was a urologist that told me to try green tea. Are you taking the caffeine free variety?

No, I've just checked the box it is Clipper Pure Green Tea. I got the taste for it and go through phases of drinking it as my main hot drink. After a while I noticed that I was needing to go for a Pee frequently, and sometimes urgently. It took a while for me to realise that it was the Green Tea that was triggering it. Strange, it is probably just something in my metabolism that reacts to Green Tea.
