This would be an appropriate question for the Café.

There are three small items that I would like to purchase from Ebay France. My French is fairly good, but I cannot fathom out the postage etc. Is the seller not prepared to post overseas?

Would any very kind person, more fluent in French and Ebay like to help me out on this? Thank you

It says he will only deliver to mainland France (I think!)

The eBay software usually stops sellers changing the postal destination at such late stages in the process (there is less than a day left).

Oh botherations! I thought that is what it said. Is it worth me sending a message to the seller, asking about postage to UK. They might then relist, I suppose.

If they don't sell then I can't see a problem in doing that. They would then re-list with a Buy-It-Now option.

The seller of this one will post world wide.

I often bid on items in France/Germany which aren't listed internationally. Never had an issue with the seller not wanting to post them to me.

The listing says "no international delivery". I have sent the seller a message asking if they will send to England.

Whatever the postage is within France, I suppose I should expect that to triple for postage to England.

She obviously understood my French, and she confirmed the approximate cost of postage, bid placed.

Thank you ACP and Mightyquin for your help.
