Greedo

Guest
Had a very rare quiet night in last night which involved a very nice 3 course meal with Mrs Greedo (she just about recognised me) a lovely bottle of Red Burgundy and a few beers and watched the above film.

Mrs Greedo true to form fell asleep on my lap 20 mins in when she lost the will to follow the plot but I really enjoyed it. Love films like that.

Bit of a hollywood ending but hey ho!!

Anyone else seen it?

Not seen that but last night I went to see The Men Who Stare at Goats and it was as daft as a brush!

denouement |ˌdānoōˈmä n |
noun
the final part of a play, movie, or narrative in which the strands of the plot are drawn together and matters are explained or resolved.
• the climax of a chain of events, usually when something is decided or made clear : I waited by the eighteenth green to see the denouement.
ORIGIN mid 18th cent.: French dénouement, from dénouer ‘unknot.’

Wonderful thing, the English language!

Yes it was - not belly laughs but more wry chuckles, and very well put together. Lots of excellent comic timing by George Clooney, Kevin Spacey is hilarious as the villain, and Ewen MrGregor just looks confused throughout...! Jeff Bridges is brilliant too.
