I've just bought a bike with campag shifters + rear mech and what looks like a Miche cassette (10speed).

I'm not sure if my wheels have got a Shimano or campag freehub. If they're Shimano does this mean I have to use another Miche cassette? If so which one?

Can I buy individual miche sprockets from anywhere?

Anyone know of any cheep 12-27 (or there abouts) campagnolo cassettes?

Miche sells both Campag and Shimano cassettes.

Either way you do not have to stick with Miche.

If you have Campag shifter and Campag rear mech, then it is practically certain* that you have a Campag spaced and splined cassette.

Campag original equipment are available from £23 to £140+

* unless your wheel or cassette is wrongly spec'ed

The older I get, the faster I used to be ...
I don't think Campag make a 12-27 (10 speed) cassette. Miche do! Think it is very likely that the freehub is Campag - unless the wheels are Shimano? You can get Shimano fitting Campag cassettes - Ambrosio make them (don't know that Miche do). Does the Miche cassette shift OK/cleanly?

(Edit: posted before I saw RAFN's post)

I think it might be a shimano spline hub with a campagnolo spaced cassette on it. Its definately a shimano rear hub. I haven't had chance to pull the cassette off to look if its a camap or shimano freehub yet.

Its a cheap Quando wheel, it's not worth spending a fortune on.
I'm going to cut my losses and buy a new rear wheel.

For the next few weeks I will just keep running the Shimano cassette and put up with a few miss-shifts.
