microsoft outlook down?

well after lots of messing around, uninstalling stuff on various devices that sync with the chromebook, clearing stuff, disabling stuff, the problem sorted itself when - my chromebook did one of its regular updates.
Will teach me - have been here before with other stuff - if you can live with a problem for a while, just sit it out for two or three days and see if an update sorts it. Saves a lot of time.
