Yup. I can do that and have done quite often in the past. Personally, I think it looks stupid and most owners fail abysmally in the brushing department, so the 'look' only lasts a day or so. I've done lots of these 'Japanese' heads, as they are known. Quite fun to do.
If you google 'Japanese style of dog grooming' you will see lots of creatively styled dogs. Nowadays, I just cannot be faffing like that. I just want to pack in grooming altogether. Hopefully new job starting next week and I can (except for my own dogs cos I ain't paying a groomer who is not as good as me)

Because the blokes haircut for 12 and a half bucks just does the head and you sit vaguely still for the whole thing. The miniature schnauzer hair cut is head, beard, body legs, nail clipping, anal gland expression, tidying tail, full bath and blow dry, perfume, bow, being bitten, getting your leg shagged, breathing in all sorts of dander and crap, working on an animal that rarely stays still. We groomers are qualified professionals and know a heck of a lot about dogs, their various coats, diets and all sorts. We also clear up pee and poo as owners are not terribly good at toileting their hounds before they bring them to us. That's where your $50 goes, that and the fact that our Public Liability Insurance is about 4 times as much as the same insurance for a hairdresser.
Our scissors are more expensive, our clippers are about 3 times the cost and our skill level is out of this world.

Just saying like.
