Congratulations to Magnatom and all the family - lovely photo and Charlotte is a lovely name.

Francis is also a very cute baby.

Good luck to Ian Rauk, and best wishes to Mrs Alecsetc.

We had a good night last night, a 3 hour and 4 hour stint of sleep! We never had anything like that with our first two, even up until they were 1. Fingers crossed it continues!

What did you expect - she is a girl after all :thumbsup:

I'm back! Well, almost!

Tomorrow I am back to work after my two months paternity leave. It's been a rollercoaster. When Charlotte is awake she is very chilled and likes looking around and at people. She has started cooing and oohing!

However, we've had some horrific nights! We've had a few nights of little or no sleep, due to her being unsettled. However, having had two poor sleeping babies already (both who are great sleepers now), we hae experience of this and are (hopefully) getting on top of it, so hopefully I'll have the energy to commute on the bike!

So back to commuing tomorrow......but not on the bike. I have to take the car tomorrow. Pooh! Back on the bike on Thursday, though. I need to start my training for my 190 mile ride......

What the....??!!!

LOL! Two weeks of course!

It's been busy. As well as looking after our new arrival, we've had a kitchen planner in, two builders in (quoting for the new kitchen), three heating engineers in (need a new boiler), the midwife has been in and out, etc...

I'm allowed to make mistakes!

How's it going...... hard work at first........

Aye, we've had some hard nights were we have had no sleep, however, experience tells us that we have to 'encourage' good sleeping patterns, so pat and shush it is! ;)

Also try to keep her awake during the day for some spells, rather than letting her sleep when "she" wants to!

Is it just a case of her waking, or is she in any pain? (our littlest suffered from Reflux and couldn't get to sleep - when we started her on infant Gaviscon she was a changed baby!).

Hard work when they are that little as they can't communicate!!
