I suspect it's my age and relative poverty and lack of gadgets as a child, but I'm still amazed that you can get a video camera that small, and for less than £100. Ok, it's not top of the range, but I couldn't afford to spend much more, and even if I could, I'd have to decide if it was a priority..
It is a shame that it's not more sensitive and useful in the dark. But I've had no problems at all mounting it, on bars or helmet. Did you not get two velcro straps with it? One long, one short?
I've also never had a problem with vibrations but a) I wear mine on my head, so my neck absorbs shock and
I bet I never go nearly as fast as you....
