My old mini-pump broke and I'm looking to get a new one that can do presta but also has a spike for inflating my daughter's netball. Can all/most do this or is it unusual? Any suggestions welcome.

I was wondering what you meant by a 'Spike' I was imaging some sharp to hit people/cars with. None of my mini pumps came with a 'spike' adapter but the ones that take shrader will take the old adapter.

Why not invest in a Topeak Joe Blow track pump? They come with a needle inflator and a camp bed inflator (ha ha!) and you can't really call yourself a cyclist if you don't own a track pump. Great company for spares as well.
Otherwise buy a small frame-mounted pump and get the needles from your local chav sports clothing emporium.

<edit> I checked but couldn't find one. Is this an accessory they come with - a separate 'bit' that you put to one side and lose?
