Definitely not tetanus as that usually comes from a deep anaerobic wound. Mumps unlikely as that affects your parotid (salivary glands) not lymph glands.

Now back home. I had go round the house getting rid of spiders and cobwebs before grandson would come in. He spent 18 months in Brunei with snakes and giant lizards but won’t go near a spider.
Anyhow now unpacked and even got out for a ride. Later is me making tea apparently as Mrs W and grandson have gone swimming at the local open air pool.

Was speaking to an antipodean who said it's a completely different culture in Asia. Where's were taught (unsuccessfully) not to fear spiders, they're taught very much the opposite.
