The presence of a Trixi mirror may help prevent the stock ''blind spot'' argument used by truckers in court. ''I couldn't see the cyclist'' starts to look more like ''I didn't look.''

why do people assume i am saying they are not a good thing. they are a great idea. but if they are not used then there is no point to them is there.
Why do people use people when they mean one person? Or should that be "Why say people when you mean me?" ;)

And I'm not assuming anything. I said, fairly clearly, that it looks like you are suggesting that they are not a good thing - you even use the word 'irrelevant'.

If you have such a problem with 'people' misunderstanding you then all I can suggest is that communication is how we get thoughts and ideas from one person's mind into that of another, and there are at least two minds involved in the process.

I haven't seen any such mirrors about although if its been likened to the sort of mirrors that are put opposite blind entrances then they are very useful. Except when they get iced up, or dirty,or wet. So as long as someone cleans them and de ices them every frosty morning then its all good.

I havent used peoiple to mean one person. thats one person reading something into a post that is not there. I am communicating that they will only work if used. if a driver does not look at them then they will not see. that doesn't make them a bad thing, just something that may very well not work. the idea in itself is a good one, just very likely one that may not give the results "people" expected.

education, of both cyclists and drivers would be a good idea.
