missing catapiller !!!

just harvested our first cabbage of the year , whilst preparing it the other half saw 2 decent sized catapillers hiding in the leaves and removed the first 1 and then went looking for 2nd , its now where to be seen !!

having just eaten the cabbage with our tea i can certainly say it wasnt in my portion

so where has it gone
