Missing my bike

long story short I sold my CX bike and after some thought decided not to replace it, but I'm missing it and wanting another.
My problem is I finally decided on a British Cotic roadrat or escapade but can't decide between flat bars or drops. All my bikes were drops but never ridden a flat bar and wondered about comfort and versatility off road. Sometimes it felt a little strange off road on drops.
think I posted once before about the cotic but got little or no response from owners so figured it wasn't too popular
