Having wrecking my entire transmision earlier this week and only being able to "admit" my bike to the lbs today for repair i will find i wont be able to commute to work until all being well , next Tuesday.

As much as i like driving, commuting by bike is one of the simple things i greatly enjoy and have surprised myself how much of an impact it is having as feeling sluggish, more tired etc after even a few days is creeping in.

Its only times like these when you realise just how enjoyable and addictive cycling is.

Seriously considering a second bike,

Yeah, I'm seriously considering an 8th bike, in case all of the existing 7 break down ;)

im a little tea pot
im getting another one soon! i have 2 sets of wheels already (and a spare chain) will get a cassette for my "Best" wheels (along with another chain to match it) and then have a MTB to commute when it gets really rough or my main one breaks! then i shall buy a sunday best bike for the hell of it, then a fixie for when im feeling energetic and possibly a steel tourer for any long distance jobbies!

i spose i can live with 5 bikes in the near future. only have 1 at present with 1 on the way
