My wife will still has notice period to work whese she is so it will be 10 to 12 weeks to complete the process. I have a few irons in the fire at the moment and hope to follow soon after. We have been conservative though and set a maximum time scale of two years before a major rethink is called for.

Well good luck with it all. I'm sure it won't be without a few bumps, and you'll no doubt miss each other if you have to stay in Manchester for a while. Do they do direct trains reasonably cheaply from Manchester to Edinburgh?

Booking two weeks in advance a return is £32 which is pretty reasonable.

Kind of hard to describe at the term varies from region to region. Most typically she's an Electro Bio Medical Engineer/ Senior Medical Physics Technologist / Medical Electronics Engineer dependent on where you are from
