I moved house last weekend. I've been a happy Three customer for the last few years but, despite what the coverage checker tells me, I can't get a signal in the new house and can barely get one outside. We didn't get outr broadband turned on until today so I turn on my spare phone, a BlackBerry Curve on Vodafone. This gives me a signal so I start using it for internet access over the weekend.
It soon becomes clear that the BlackBerry is terrible and the signal isn't as strong on Saturday evening and it was Saturday morning so I put my SIM into an old HTC Desire HD. The battery lasts for only a couple of hours and I can get a good signal upstairs and in the kitchen but not in the living room. This is so frustrating. I need to get a SIM for EE, O2 and Virgin Mobile (who I believe use EE) and see which one gives me a signal, wait for my contract to expire, get more and more frustrated then switch to the best network.
tl;dr - mobile phones networks are so infuriating!
