Hello. I'm a bit nearer to 100 yrs old than I am to my birth, but I'm still an exciting, crazy, young fella. Sort of. Anyway, I have some jeans that I bought in the 1990s, probably the early 90s. These jeans fit with my memories of the jeans of yesteryear: they seem to be just about indestructible, they "just fit", and the back pockets are at arse height. Modern jeans are made of denim that seems soft and doesn't inspire expectations of durability, they hang off/away from my backside, and the back pockets are too low, bridging the buttock/thigh district.
Where can I buy proper jeans?

Nah not really changed my 'look' for 45 years, I did have a haircut once (for a job interview) in the mid 80's but not since. OK the beard has gone grey and there are a few grey hairs but otherwise I'm back to a 32 inch waist and still wear straightleg jeans, Converse baseball boots (although the latest are in Plum Leather, T shirts and one of my Leather Jackets. Don't get me wrong I've still got 'smart' trousers and shirts for family gatherings/events and interviews with the odd court appearance thrown in but it just ain't me.
