So how do you determine how many watts you are producing?
Most of the time so far in only a few weeks, I don't worry about such things, no power meter on the ebike.
After a recent two week respiratory illness, I'm far more focused on trying to keep my heart rate around 120bpm for a vast majority of the time and using easy gears on inclines to try and stay below ~150bpm.
Id be surprised if I'm averaging more than ~100W on my rides over the last two weeks, given I'm freewheeling down most descents.
Strava has my current excess weight (96Kg) and the weight of the ebike (16Kg including bottle and gadgets) and gives a power estimate, but I take the numbers with a big heap of salt.
It's all about being able to do regular 1-3 hour outdoor rides again without suffering days-weeks of fatigue crash, without having done the multiple max effort hill climbs I used to do most rides.
I've not checked yet, but I bet I'm already close to the total of 1-3 hour outdoor rides I did in either '23 or '24.
