IIRC the threshold for speed awareness vs points is up to 7mph above the '10% +2' threshold which usually triggers scameras. So in a 40, up to 53 is OK for a course and in a 70 it's up 86. I went to my course in person and it was full of people who'd been doing 25-30 in a 20 in and around London, not exactly the cast of 'Fast & Furious'. Although some of them were a bit miffed.
