Morning Folks,

Up too early as junior starts her first ever proper job as a vet today - only slight wrinkle is that she's got an induction course in Watford this week, we're in Kent and there's a tube strike. We had found a way to get her there on the overland trains with one change if I dropped her at a station 8 miles down the road, but then that was delayed so she's currently experiencing the joys of the M25.

Now I'm up I'd better do some work. And have a coffee or two.

MTBs to fettle and gear to collect together for the Rebellion Way starting on Wednesday.

If you mean the school traffic, that's not really an issue in the Borders! Apparantly its coz he likes a busy Monday with an early start!

Departure day. Think I've got everything sorted: walk, bus, train, train, navette, hotel, navette, plane, bus, car to get to t'other home. Decided to take the bus to Valence an hour earlier and to spend the extra hour there.... just in case.

Coffee first, obvs. Then tidying stuff up and shutting systems down.

Beans is in Mrs P's black book of bad cats after leaving a pile of feathers around the living room.
Shorty was extra stroppy and demanding this morning until I calmly put her in her place.

Brr pedal soon as it's a bit brighter and not raining. Might be in Roobakes tights.

Yep, stress levels were moderately high earlier on. Although she should still get there on time based on Apple Maps estimates. Once this week is over and she starts at the practice it'll be fine, as she's working not too far from home.
