Spot of ice on the windscreen this morning, must have been chilly last night. Now on the train headed to the corporate hamster wheel in town. Feeling surprisingly perky given it was a 5.30am alarm job.

Today 'ill finish watching the Giro stage 3. Maybe pedal of the temp picks up as it's not too shabby weather wise.
Last day of external painting and it's all looking rather posh at the moment. I'm thinking 'do i live in this house?'

DD1 is a DNS for one of her Highers this morning after a sleepless night talking to Huey down the big white telephone.
Having initially been useless at picking up messages using their prescribed notification channel (& holding up everyone else in the process), school have now dug out her prelim paper and suggested that this with an appropriate Dr's line might get her over the finishing line.
Thankfully her offer for next year isn't contingent on the result for this subject.

Shame really; nice day up here and the local Facebook weather soothsayer is saying today's the best day of the week.
