I waited until late morning for a pedal yesterday. I did wear shorts though I also wore lone Merino socks and it did look a bit silly.

I don't like them. Any cooler and I have a selection of tights to choose from.
I was fine though. I got the combo right:

Vest, light long sleeve base layer, Long sleeve Perfetto, Fleece lined shorts, the sock ^, thin woolly hat and thin woolly gloves.

Its dark and very wet here. Woke up to find the heating wasn’t working turned out the boiler had low pressure. Took a few minutes to find pressure gauge and work out which valves to use as we never had to do this on this boiler and previous owners never bothered to leave us a manual. Seems to sorted now.
Given the weather gone to sh!t is it time to swop power meter pedals to turbo bike from summer bike.

Shirking from home in the sticks after a busy and boozy weekend. Managed to get out on the bike Sunday morning at least. Not in the orifice until Wednesday this week. Seems to be feeling rather autumnal these days, I preferred the summer.
Might have to make coffee soon.
