Morning
Down to 3.4 degrees first thing, is not a bit early for such cool temps. Shopping delivery put away and now finishing second coffee, later will be walk Bertie then a bike ride.

Cool start, needed a bit of warm air in The Panzer on the way into the 'burbs. Dealing with usual levels of stupidity in the office today, will probably have earned a drink when I get home.

Nippy first thing so decided to wait until it warmed a degree or two.
Then the wind picked up...
But sunny ride at least. 90min ride turned into 3 hours as I bumped into a mate who was doing work on a house en route.

After-morning.

Super nippy and cool 1st thing as wifey cycled off to work. A chilling 3.7C on the garden thermo-show-er.
Early start for me as straight into 1st job at 9am. Not even chance for a cheeky coffee.
Went to get car tyre puncture fixed. £50 the robbing sods!!! The tyre cost £65 back in April.
Busy busy busy afternoon. Back in orifice for a coffee and debrief from the boss who's just come back from Hols in Italy.

£50 for puncture repair?! I hope they did a wheel balance whilst they were at it.

Yeah, wheel balance and put repaired wheel back on car despite having a full size spare alloy with a similar tyre fitted. Saves me getting the trolley jack out though I wince at the thought of the tyre monkeys getting anywhere near my sills with their jacks. I usually take my 4x tyres in the boot to get new tyres fitted then change them myself at home. Carefully.

But £50 !!! Outrageous!

^ You chose a good week weather-wise Mr VSR, as long as you are wrapped up warm.

Managed to get my old W10 laptop fixed today, after it went into a sulk last night and refused to boot up, bootmgr file corrupted messages multiple. Local community IT Centre, chap said yeah bring it down I'll take a look. Lots of enforced restarts, left it with him to 'auto repair' and seems it did. 🤞it continues to work now. No bad for a £20 donation to the community funds.

Long day as body is still in bits, so been up from 3am being ill 🤬

Had the day off work but ended up working most of it, eldest did his best to derail it by spending hours a&e after spilling chemicals on himself whilst deep cleaning the kitchen at the local. Now got to take him to the QE tomorrow

Evening folks,
Getting up before the sun to get into the orifice was rather tedious. Day of work followed by a walk then a pie and a pint. stroll was interrupted by half a dozen cows blocking access to the stile. Tried asking nicely, shouting and waving my arms as well as walking at them. They just looked at me and chewed. So i went back the way I’d come 🙄
