Not yet light here , bit not raining. Watching the lights on the logging machines on the hill opposite, retirement isn't so bad!
Breakfast , coffee and bike ride with a pal. Last of.the family away today.
Played Flamme Rouge - cycling board game last night, it's pretty good and well thought out!

Twas -5C on waking this morning, so it'll be a local stroll this morning, then shopping by bike this afternoon, getting ingredients for tartiflette, and restocking on local wine... probably a Côtes du Rhône, and a white for the tartiflette. Must remember to get some more coffee too - some crises are too dire to contemplate. (Just had to add 'tartiflette' to my spellcheck word list - what kind of omission is that?)

Grey and less brr but less bright and less frost but not crispy and light.
Pruning and tidying up mostly today after yesterday's chainsaw shenanigans. Will drag one wotsit off a screen and ply the other with food.
Beans and I had a good scrap yesterday. He didn't want me tryping on the laptop and so I moved a little but not far enough so I was attacked again and then moved and eventually, I ended up the other end of the couch until Mrs P protested. Round 3 kicked off when I tried to move him out of my original slot.

The Reblochon Mrs W has bought over here at either local delis, M&S or Waitrose is no different to Reblochon we’ve bought an used in France. It’s just much more expensive.

Morning People,

Another decent lie in - slept well after yesterday's rather slow 50k. A few post Christmas phone calls done, will walk hounds shortly then off for Mrs. 666's birthday lunch - junior and her boyfriend are tagging along as I'm paying. May do some sim racing later.
