Got home about 6.30pm
Son had cooked us delicious meal on our arrival.
M6/M5 usual carnage of traffic. Slow and tiring. Looked worse north bound.
M-way junction 10 miles from home was worse with 40 mins to travel 1 Mile.
TG for Aircon! Hit B'ham when it peaked at 34C. Got out of car and roasted!
Beer.
Beer
Bed....

Checked out where good weather was going to be (not where we expected it to be) made a plan and dug a teenager out of her pit in time to execute the plan.
Not sure Archerfield walled garden is really my kind of place but the café at Tyninghame always delivers.
Overall, today has to go down as a win.

The furthest thataway I have been is Dunns. A former BR forumite and overall dodgy Welshbloke resides near there and commutes the 35 miles into Embra and home everyday (bar the worst weather).
That's 70 miles for the hard of counting.

I'm guessing he lived alone or didn't like his family?

I found a beer on my bench this morning, left there by a fellow employee as a joke as I usually start the morning by proclaiming that I need a beer. ‘Twas a nice way to start the day… who knew!

Looks like another warm one…

He has family and yes to the above ^, a cycle commute. He popped up on a BR bragging thread about annual commuter miles and closed the thread down.
