Looks sunny and calm in the 'burgh outskirts; another ideal pedalling day lost to the visiting of the smog.
Thankfully I managed to secure enough hydrocarbons for a return trip (as long as I have no fun on the way down.)

Bit of an unplanned lie in as I forgot that the G Shock I use as an alarm doesn't have auto daylight savings adjustment like the other ones I have. Doh. Anyhow, on the train into the office for another day of delegation and torturing numbers.

Perhaps, though Herons will quickly decimate a fish population in a small pond.
There's a deep metaphor somewhere in there but it's still too early.

Herons are a pain of fisheries but Cormorants are the worst. Lots run wires across over winter to fend them off and will cull them if they nest locally.

As it was mainly dry and windy, started trimming one of the big news in the garden, pole saw and big ladders out. Mostly done , just need to do the remaining central branches with the bigger ladder....
