Woke up really early for reasons unknown then just dozed until the alarm went off. Not feeling too bad though.

Now on the train into town for another round of the usual, followed by a trip to the hospital after work for a last x-ray and chat with the consultant about my collar bone repair. I remember now that I wasn't meant to be doing any exercise until he signed me off - oopsie.

Morning

Light rain forecasted here too. Not much sign of it. Might have to use the sprinkler, last used way back in '23.
Other than that, easy day with a bit of weeding chucked in.

Morning
Now we have some sunshine earlier it was spotting with rain, which was predictable given we ad left the cushions out on the patio chairs last night. Just put the shopping delivery away. Later will be attempting to see if I can get the buttons on top of my brake levers to change the pages on my bike computer.

Accuweather, never has a company been more inaccurately named! I find Met Office to be the most reliable, BBC Weather is more on the pessimistic side, any chance of rain above 20% seems to be classed as torrential rain.

Woke up this morning to find my wife had taken to my lovely new Teflon coated saucepan with a wire scouring pad. She will not be allowed anywhere near the cooking utensils in future!

Been married only a couple of weeks? This was a deliberate ploy.

Afternoon all. Sorry for radio silence. Got outta hospital last Friday evening and slept a lot until today.

Great news! Saw my cancer consultant this morning and the scan results are very good! Everything in the liver has further shrunk and disappeared apart from tiny 1mm spot that might be scar tissue! Operation scans look perfect too. No more treatment just follow up scans in 3 months! It's brilliant news!
