Salut ! Lots of coffee already had, and now waiting in CdG station for the Ouigo TGV south. Six weeks or so of patisseries await, plus a few concerts and bike rides.

Good day yesterday, had family round to celebrate junior's graduation so a fair bit of food beer and wine was consumed. Also managed to see the footy and the F1 highlights so not a lot to complain about.

Now on the train into town for the usual. Onwards to tax mitigation....

Always annoying when the weather puts a (literal) dampener on the end of a holiday. Console yourself with those pasties and knowing that forest fires will be less likely after you've left. Bon voyage.

Once again feeling slight jaded on a Monday however this is due to three days at Together Again festival nr Chester.

Good familiy vibe, no huge acts, the biggest were Jamie Webster, Cat Burns and UB40 but some decent dance tents and a huge fairground for the kids.

I have never been so unmoved by a TdF since the Lance years.
Positives was Oscar's performance and some bits and bobs. Once Pog had the time gap, it was a foregone conclusion.

Agree, it was a bit of a dud for me but I followed it avidly anyhow.

Slow start this morning, still not feeling 100%. Enjoyed watching the TdF yesterday, in spite of the heavy rain shower. A wander shortly then a dinner cruise on the Seine tonight.
