It's almost sunny here in the middle of The Big Smoke. Crap sleep for no known reason (and also not expected after yesterdays suburban hill climbing session round the Crystal Palace area), but don't feel to tired?

Plenty going on in the office but the corporate hamster wheel isn't spinning too fast.

Enjoyed a brief meander through the Pentlands before resuming my chauffeuring vocation. Maybe fit in some pension planning later if I'm lucky. Gotta love winter.

Pulled muscle? About 3 years ago I was laid up in bed agony for about 10 days with really bad back pain if I tried to move and thought it must be something fairly serious - got it checked out, the doc shrugged his shoulders and told me it was pulled muscle and not a lot I could do apart from rest up and take some decent strength pain killers.

Shirking from home after a pleasant weekend. Seem to have caught a cold from female child, tedious. Might skip going to the orifice this week so as to avoid passing it on. Not getting up at SG o’clock is an advantage of that.

Good day folks. Currently still surviving in a bombsite, builders getting on ok but im regretting getting it all done together. May attempt work tomorrow if i can get away with it. Weather is dry for a change, quite a few roads flooded around here so dryness appreciated.

Current wife has gone back to the airport today as she is leaving for Krakow 20 hours after landing back from Italy.
I've been clearing out my inbox and am looking forward to a nice curry later and then an early night.

His decline has been rapid and now uses a machine to help him speak. He is in a care facility in Wantage which means that he gets regular visits from his new grand daughter and his daughters.

Ah ****, that is terrible. I was wondering what had happened to him after you said that he was unwell. Please tell him that we are thinking about him.
