I'm just wondering why the £59 registration fee?? It's a lot and I could just ride this ride on my own anyway. Ok it's for charity, all good, but there is also a £300 minimum pledge per rider, if I could get that then fine, doubtful but fine, so why the £59 registration fee...maybe I'm missing the point here but I remain unconvinced about this kind of charity event.

Just my morning moan I guess:rolleyes:

Registration fee and a pledge to raise £300 -of which your charity pays £95 to the organisers. Sounds like a nice little earner, given that people like MacMillan and Marie Curie also run their own events where entrance is much less and they keep all the cash.

I think I'd avoid that one.
