Walking back from Tesco, saw a woman at the kerb - this on a narrow and busy road - suddenly just set off...not a glance behind...then wobble half way across the road, and so away. Oblivious. Jesus.
I once took the son of my Syrian agent out cycling - what a nightmare! He set off just like that, wobbling along with his knees splayed just like...an Arab on a bike, swerved straight out in front of a car who hit the brakes and quite rightfully gave him a blast on his horn.... which didn't bother my friend because Arabs use their horns all the time.
I nearly knocked down a cyclist the other day, i genuinely didn't see him due to the lack of lights, also nearly took one out this morning due to the fog (again, no lights)
Early today I was whizzing down a hill and a couple of mouth-breathers stepped off the pavement in front of me without looking. I could understand someone young not hearing any vehicles and assuming it was OK to cross but these two looked too old to be able to hear....!
