Mortirolo anyone?!

Just watched a re run of that climb-Christ Alive! - what a horror. As anyone riden it here?

If it's from the Giro D'Italia 2012, then it's likely that nobody from here has ridden it. Wasn't that a farm track that was surfaced specifically for the race as the original Mortirolo couldn't be used because of challenges getting riders to the Stelvio on the same day?

I've driven it, It was bloody scary in a car, steep, big drop offs and barely wide enough for one vehicle let alone the loopy local in the tractor coming towards us

Funnily enough as I recall there wheren't many cyclists about, unlike the Stelvio et al, plenty of road graffiti though.

I've done the Pantani side, not the one used in the 2012 Giro. Hard (in a word).
