I've scraped a decades worth of moss out of my gutters, plus there's stuff from the drive - what do I do with it?

Put it in the garden waste bin. Let the council deal with it :okay:

Grumble grumble £60/year.

If they can turn it into "soil improver" why can't I?

  • Grass cuttings
  • Leaves
  • Prunings
  • Hedge trimmings
Green garden waste can be placed directly in the wheelie bin, there’s no need to use bags or sacks.

...
We take your garden waste to a local facility where it is treated and turned into compost, and then used in local farms as a soil improver.

Scrape it off and take it to the tip.
On a dry windless day spray 50-50 white vinegar and water over where the moss formed and leave it to dry in.
Moss'll not grow there again.

How about growing moss on the bare patches of my front garden, around the base of bushes and roses and flower pots?
