GoPro hero 3 black is better than the VIO POV HD. The Sony cam is the best one at night.

But it looks like you have a brick on your head
as does the Contour. The POV series may be bulkier and lacking slightly in quality (tbh when I had a pov there was nothing out there to best it) but you get a subtle lens, a hardcase battery/recording unit that can take a hell of a lot of abuse, and a camera which is obviously much less of an eyesore.I fell off enduro bikes many times, inc on tarmac in snow
and nothing fazed it. In fact, it caused more damage to me than the road caused to it lol
